Hello!….I want to start of by welcoming everyone to Volume One, of a new section I will be doing here on PowerSport TV called “Ride Four-Seven”. This is an arena where I get to blab about all my rides/races throughout the course of the summer/winter seasons. From riding and racing mx tracks in the summer to ice quad racing and snowmobile riding in the winter.
The Godfather of Freestyle Motocross
Mike Metzger (born 19 November 1975 in Huntington Beach, California) is an American Freestyle Motocross (FMX) rider. In the 2002 X-Games he won the Freestyle and Big Air events and got second place in Step Up, earning him an estimated $100,000 in three days. In 2003 he also got first place in Big Air. On May 4, 2006, at 9:26, Metzger completed "The Impossible Jump", doing a world record backflip over the fountains in front of Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, seen live on ESPN.
Rider Profile: Ami Houde
I’ve been apart of the motocross industry all my life and it is not only a sport but a lifestyle. Motocross is something that has been in my family for generations, and I’ve been following in some pretty big footsteps. My dad Kim Houde, was Canadian Champion in 79’ and 94’ and won the 2006 over 45 and over 50 World Championships in Glen Helen California.

In case you missed it, our boys Caleb and Colten Moore THREW DOWN at Winter X! Both guys had impressive freestyle runs with Caleb landing on the podium with a bronze medal. Not bad for his first X Games appearance! Colten threw down in freestyle as well and as this quote from ESPN's Mark Kohlman reveals, was UNDERSCORED.
